In a recent interview with Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos, Joe Polish mentions the sentiment of most businesses on the planet, “we’re not happy until you’re not happy.” Here’s the interview.
Conscious leaders on the other hand would say, "we’re not happy until you are happy.” This comes across not in words but in their actions. Sometimes these actions could even be considered heroic but they nevertheless prove the fact that the customer (you) are important (and you are important).
